1. Definitions Company: Refers to DHL Cargo Packers and Movers. Client: Refers to the individual or organization requesting services from the Company. Goods: Items or belongings that are being packed, moved, or stored. 2. Scope of Services The Company agrees to provide packing, moving, and/or storage services as per the agreement with the Client. Services are limited to those expressly listed in the service agreement. 3. Quotation and Payment Quotations provided are estimates and may vary based on the final assessment of goods and services required. Payments must be made according to the terms specified in the quotation or invoice. Any additional services requested by the Client after the quotation has been accepted will be charged extra. 4. Booking and Cancellation A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed contract and payment of any applicable deposit. Cancellation by the Client within 48 hours of the scheduled service may result in a cancellation fee. The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or other emergencies. 5. Client’s Responsibilities The Client must ensure that all goods are adequately prepared for transport, including the proper packing of fragile items if not done by the Company. The Client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, parking, or access permissions. The Client must provide accurate information regarding the nature of the goods to be transported. 6. Liability and Insurance The Company will take reasonable care in handling the Client's goods. However, the Company will not be liable for any damage or loss unless caused by the Company's negligence. Limited liability insurance is included, but the Client is encouraged to take out additional insurance for high-value or irreplaceable items. The Company is not responsible for damage to items that were not packed by its personnel. 7. Delays The Company will make every effort to adhere to agreed timelines, but it is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond its control, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, or regulatory issues. If delays are caused by the Client (e.g., access issues), additional charges may apply. 8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution Any complaints should be reported in writing to the Company within 7 days of the service being provided. The Company will endeavor to resolve disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration. 9. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service was provided. 10. Amendments The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes in advance. 11. Miscellaneous The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any client or for any goods that it deems unsafe or inappropriate to transport.
